The Sharpe Company is a boutique licensing agency that specializes in bringing the best in pop culture intellectual property to the USA & the rest of the world.

More specifically, we help IP owners/holders extend their brands into non-core categories, growing brand equity and market share whilst maintaining brand essence. We develop properties through strategic partnerships, licensed merchandise and new media development.

Sharpe licenses the rights to use this IP to manufacturers and retailers of merchandise and services. We know how to nurture a brand – acting like a “surrogate” brand manager.

Over the years The Sharpe Company has built award-winning licensed retail merchandise programs for Humphrey’s Corner, Naughty Naughty Pets, Judge Dredd, Norton Motorcycles and Dangerous Books for Boys – to name a few. We’ve worked with strategic partners to extend these properties into television, short films and new media, and develop these properties in the rest of the world.

As an example, Sharpe brand extended Rubik’s Cube into the 2008 Electronic Toy of the Year, Rubik’s Revolution, as well as the development of the Rubik’s Cube app for iPhone and Android, which simultaneously became the #1 Kids’, #1 Puzzle and #1 Game app for iPhones in summer 2013.

We bring a global perspective to the business of licensing with more than 40 years combined intellectual property licensing experience. We think and act global with a network of long duration licensing relationships… both in USA and the Rest of the World.
